In upper franconia, “Brotzeit” is a well-preserved tradition. “Brotzeit” means a variety of cold-served dishes, starting with bread, from cheese to a variety of sausages – including Leberkäs! All packed in a bag, they are often consumed in a beer garden, where one may bring their own food and only pay for the served beer. Bamberg and its surroundings offer a large number and variety of small breweries and beer gardens – and of course great, hearty sausage specialties.
For over 90 years, we at Fischers sausages produce whatever comes across our customers minds. We only use own spice mixtures and thus do not use any flavor enhancers or additives (with an exception of pickling salt).
Our Dosenfestival is a small selection of fine sausage treats, all canned up and up and easily prepared. Enjoy!
